Here at Bredon, we take pride in ensuring that each individual child is at the centre of our attention.
We recognise that prior to joining us, many students have had some negative experiences of school and learning and we take real pride in helping them to develop and understand their potential.
We offer a breadth of opportunity in work and recreation and we reward our students for their achievements. In doing so, we help them to develop self-confidence and self-esteem in a safe, happy and supportive environment. Our students can and do achieve great things. We believe that learning differences should not be a barrier to success.
“The atmosphere of support and shared pleasure in achievement is palpable… Students are impressive in their readiness to ask for help and in the way in which they work together.” CReSTeD inspection
We expect our students to act with courtesy, consideration and respect towards others and to embrace our inclusive atmosphere. In return, students will be treated as an individual and respected by other members of the community.
We prepare all our students for the next stage in life; whether it is further or higher education or employment. They will leave us ready for life in British society in the 21st Century.
“With some special educational needs and a sense of low self esteem stemming from his old school, we moved (our son) to Bredon and they have been amazing! We now have a fine young man who is happy, settled and thriving in this amazing environment.” Parent
