Our recent fixture against Hanley produced a very exciting game. Bredon scored 21 1/2 rounders to Hanley’s 20 in the first innings. Excellent batting from Matt Griffin with eight and a half rounders, Will, James and Harry Jones, four and a half each, gave Bredon a good start. Unfortunately, tight fielding and catches from Alice, Harry Hodgkins, Will, James and Harry Jones could not win the game for us. In the second innings Hanley managed to score 1/2 a rounder on the penultimate ball of the match. Previously Bredon played Welland Ladies and won 16-10. Well played everyone.
