Bredon School v Bowbrook

Both games had to be played in the Sports Hall due to thunderstorms, but this didn’t affect the players who produced two very exciting games.

Bredon seniors began well taking control from the start. Good fielding enabled Bredon to hold Bowbrook to only nine rounders in total. Sound batting and sensible running helped Bredon score 13 ½ rounders for a convincing win, with both Rosie and Georgina scoring three rounders each.

The juniors followed with an equally good result, beating Bowbrook by 19 rounders to 16 ½ . Christina scored 4 ½ rounders with Megan and Jess adding three each. The fielding was very exciting – almost as good as South Africa’s cricketers.
