Indoor hockey is always a fast game with lots of goals. Harry Jones opened the scoring from a well executed corner and continued to put the Hanley keeper under pressure for the rest of the game.

Although their keeper played well, he could not cope, Harry Jones' lifted ball into the top corner of the net and the score was 5-0 at half time.

Hanley never gave up but the team work from Harry Jones, Harry Hodgkins and Rosie Stephenson in attack resulted in 8 goals. Hanley scored a consolation goal towards the end.
