Playing in the superb facilities at Malvern is always a challenge but Bredon looked in control and were leading 11-8 at half-time after a three-pointer from Alice Pollard.

The girls were playing on a full international-size court but that was no excuse for their lack of pace or stamina in the second half. A tired Bredon team could only score two baskets to Malvern's 12 and lost 32 points to 15.
