U18s Harry Jones and Harry Hodgkins had to face strong opposition in the doubles competition and were sometimes caught out of position. It did however, give them a good warm up for the singles competition which they both enjoyed and won several games.

U16s Matthew Hodson and James Dunn (pictured) won their section and had a very close game in the final. Both players cleared well from the back of the court; covered the net and worked well as a team. They won the first game 21-18 and the second 21-19 to win the ISA U16 Badminton Tournament. A fantastic achievement.

The singles were equally exciting. James lost only one of his five games and Matt won all of his to reach the semi-final which he won to go through to the final. This was a spectacle watched and applauded by all the players and staff. Some of the rallies were 27 strokes long with Matt just losing the first game 21-19 and the second 25-23. A really good effort.
