| Regional Badminton Competition - Spring 2010 |
|
Bredon's first game was against the school representing Devon, who went on to win the whole competition. Matt Hodson, playing an England player, had to work hard to get 2 points. The whole team scored a total of 42 points in the five games against this school. The second game, against Cornwall’s school, went to a similar pattern but by the next game against Avon, Bredon had settled down and played better badminton to win 3-2. This gave us a well deserved boost before playing the Wiltshire school in the play-off. Keeping Kames Dunn at No.1 and with Jake Davenport motivating the team, Bredon went on to win 4-1. This win put us, as Gloucestershire, fifth out of the seven counties in the South West of England. A really good result!

The U16 boys badminton team travelled to Exeter to represent Gloucestershire in a Regional Competition. The standard of badminton in the South West of England is very high.
