Founder's Day - July 2010

Founder’s Day 2010 was the traditional climax to Bredon School’s academic year, with prizes awarded to pupils for achievement and effort, and farewells said for pupils and for staff who are leaving. There were special tributes to David Keyte, who retires as Principal this summer after 10 successful years in charge of the School. Admissions and Development Manager Doug Sharp (the son of the Founder, the late Lt-Col A K Sharp) led the tributes, followed by Paul Albrecht, Chief Executive of Colegios Laude, the owners of the School. Mr Keyte will remain a director of the School.

The Founder’s Day programme this year included a medley of Jamaican music performed by the pupils, a reading by Bredon School Parents’ Association member Kate O’Leary and three songs – including two from the musical, Oliver – sung by the Bredon Singing Group.
