The new Headmaster of Bredon School congratulated students on their A-level results today. John Hewitt, who officially takes over at the independent school near Tewkesbury next month, was on hand as the results were announced. “Bredon School has built a reputation for always bringing out the best in its pupils, and this reputation has been strengthened by those students who have taken A-levels this year. Although our A-level results never put us on top of the league tables, we are very proud of the achievements of our pupils, who have once again worked to the best of their abilities this year,” said Mr Hewitt. The 240-pupil day and boarding school had a 100% A*-E pass rate, with around 20% of all A-levels taken being awarded an A*-B grade.
