| Bredon School GCSE results massively beat predicted grades |
|
Pupils easily beat their predicted grades at GCSE at Bredon School this summer, the Headmaster has revealed. Two-thirds (67%) of GCSEs taken were awarded A-C grades, even though predictions based on independent assessments had suggested a pass rate of just 21%. John Hewitt, who becomes Headmaster of the 240-pupil independent school near Tewkesbury on 1 September, said: "I am very proud of the pupils. "I would like to congratulate them and also congratulate our teaching staff for their professional expertise and dedication. At Bredon, we continue to over-achieve based on the grades our pupils are predicted to attain when they arrive at this school." Bredon School has a long-established reputation for helping children to thrive and fulfil their potential, often after they have struggled at previous schools.
