Bredon School finished the Autumn Term in festive style with the Carol Service held in the Sports Hall, which was specially decorated and lit for the occasion. More than 500 people sang six traditional carols, and listened to seasonal Bible readings. Bredon School Singers performed We're Walking in the Air, while there was also a memorable humorous reading, Dad's Christmas Morning, by pupil George Ross. The music was played by Bredon School's Brass Band, led by Mr Kevin Jeffery. The Reverend C Moss led the prayers and blessing. Shortly after the service, guests met outside for the formal opening of the Smart Centre by Principal David Keyte, the school's youngest pupil, Elizabeth Morris, and by 14-year-old Robert Colcott, who won a competition to choose a name for the building.
