Mountain Biking November 2008
Snowdonia

In November a group of Sixth-Formers and Year 11 went to Betws Y Coed in Snowdonia to experience the Marin Trail mountain bike route. The weekend was very wet but the team had a fantastic time. They achieved many down hill routes and bonded and worked together well.

James Pine (Head Boy ) entertained the group with the most spectacular fall of the weekend.

Waterfalls Walk CE Day September 2008

For Curriculum Enhancement day, Year 8 and some Year 10 geographers went to Wales to enjoy a walk along the river taking in several waterfalls. The group split into two and met for lunch.

The day was a great success. Many thanks to the tutors of year 8 who attended the day.
