Bredon School has an active and enthusiastic Parents' Association. The association works to develop links between staff, parents and other friends of the school, as well as to provide equipment and facilities to support the education of pupils.

Key events in the association's year include the annual BSPA Summer Ball in July - a real highlight of Bredon School's social calendar - and the school's May Fete, at which it runs a number of attractions.

The current main targets of its fund-raising work are firstly to provide a theatre area within the sports hall, including an easily removable stage, curtains and lighting, and secondly to provide, circus skills equipment, props and costumes.

"As the majority of pupils at Bredon are involved in some way with performing arts, either in an on-stage or a back-stage role, we felt that this was a great area to support through our fund-raising", explains BSPA Chair Karen Hughes. "Hopefully, there will also be funds available for smaller projects around the school, and we are always willing to consider ideas from parents, pupils and staff."
