Getting to school
The School operates a bus service with pick up and drop off points covering many towns and villages in the surrounding counties. Operated on our behalf by Avonside, a local transport firm, all drivers are DBS checked.

The School day
Day pupils are expected to arrive at school between 8 and 8.30am, with either tutor time or an assembly until 8.50am when the first lesson starts. All pupils have a mid-morning break between 10.40am and 10.55am, when they can have a drink and a snack, usually fruit and biscuits.
The morning ends at 12.45pm when pupils have an hour for lunch and play. Whilst pupils can bring in a packed lunch, most prefer to have a hot lunch provided by the School caterers, and eaten in the main dining hall.
From Monday to Thursday, afternoon school ends at 4.30pm. On Friday, the day ends at 3.15pm following a whole School assembly.
After school activities
Because Bredon is home to many boarding pupils, there is a wide range of after school activities on offer every day. By prior arrangement, we offer ‘day boarding’ which enables day pupils to stay on after school, complete their prep/join an activity, and have supper. They can then be collected at 7pm. For costs, please see Fees.
The School is clearly run and staffed by people who make an enormous difference to the lives of their pupils – Parent
