Year 7 and 8 District Athletics Report

On Friday 15th June, ten Year 7 and 8 athletes travelled to The Prince of Wales Stadium in Cheltenham to take part in the South Worcestershire Schools District Athletics meet.

As expected all of the students were impeccably behaved and a large number of good performances were recorded.

Many of the athletes achieved third and forth places but the following athletes have been selected for the District team in the County Championships at Hereford on the 27th June.

Lily Pinchin – 1st in the Girls 8 High Jump
Josh Pettigrew – 1st in the Boys 8 High Jump
Sam Wooliams – 1st in the Boys 7 High Jump

Well done to everyone who took part and thank you to Sports Leader student Nick Lewis who acted as team manager throughout the morning.
