This exciting course in Enterprise and Marketing will help you develop the business skills demanded by employers today. It offers a broad understanding of the key Business elements (Marketing, Finance, Human Resources and Operations) as well as external influences on business. Coursework focuses specifically on Marketing.
How is the course structured and graded?
Pupils will learn and apply their knowledge and skills using a variety of methods, such as investigation (internet and real-world businesses), formal written assignments, reports and presentations to class. We also visit businesses and invite guest speakers. The course will be assessed by exam (50%) and coursework (50%). The coursework comprises the development of a business proposal and a pitch of that proposal to an audience (the audience need not be large for those who do not relish such situations).

An interest in the business world is important. With a large emphasis on coursework, it is important that students become independent learners. Engaging content and practical learning will allow you to develop business acumen and enterprise skills.
