Work Experience

Winner of the ISA Senior School Award for Academic Excellence and Innovation in recognition of our unique and extensive work experience programme, work experience is a vital part of every pupils’ personal development.

Offering pupils, the opportunity to take part in mock interviews with invited guests from a wide range of industries, pupils meet new people, experience new situations and fine tune their interview skills and techniques in a familiar yet realistic environment.

Pupils studying vocational and Level 2 courses also have the opportunity to spend up to one day a week in a work placement. This allows pupils to develop vital personal skills and has led to many pupils being offered paid employment or apprenticeship when they leave Bredon.

Work experience not only gives pupils an insight into the world of work and individual career areas but develop in the confidence to succeed in the next stage of life.
