Mrs Kelly Weston

During her teaching career, Mrs Weston has held the roles of Teacher of Science, Head of Year, Head of Science and Agriculture, SENCO and is now Director of Learning Development at Bredon School.

Mrs Weston always wanted to follow a scientific career path. Although inspired by two superb Science teachers at school, becoming a teacher was a career she hadn’t considered; that was until she worked as a guide for the National Trust and following this there was only ever one career for her – education! Mrs Weston holds an M.Ed (SEND) based around speech and language provision in schools and is embarking on her National Professional Qualification for Headship.

A local girl, having grown up just outside Pershore, Mrs Weston has a love for the outdoors and in particular enjoys spending time with her horses and dogs (dalmatians!). In the past she has shown her horses to a very high level.

Mrs Weston believes in education for all and regards the learning journey that young people take whilst in education to be equally as important as the qualification outcomes at the end.
