Mrs Kelly Weston
SENCO & Inclusion Co-ordinator and Teacher
BSc (Hons), PGCE Science, QTS, M.Ed, NASENCO, CPT3A
During her time as a teacher, Mrs Weston has held various roles including Science teacher, Head of Year, Head of Science and Agriculture, SENCO and is now Inclusion Manager at Bredon where she heads up all of the learning support for the School.
Mrs Weston always wanted to follow a scientific career path. Although inspired by two superb Science teachers at school, becoming a teacher was a career she hadn’t considered; that was until she worked as a guide for the National Trust and following this there was only ever one career for her - education! Mrs Weston has recently completed her M.Ed (SEND) based around speech and language provision in schools and is embarking on her National Professional Qualification for Headship in 2020.
Mrs Weston is a local girl, having grown up just outside Pershore. She has a love for the outdoors and in particular spending time with her horses and dogs (dalmatians!). In the past she has shown her horses to a very high level, although rarely has the time to do so now.
Mrs Weston believes in education for all and regards the learning journey that young people take whilst in education, to be equally as important as the qualification outcomes at the end.
