Admissions

We understand that choosing the right school for your child is one of the biggest, most important decisions you will make about your child’s future.

A mainstream independent school, Bredon is proud of its wide ranging Academic and Vocational offer. With small class sizes, from Year 4 through to Sixth Form, Bredon offers specialist support for children with dyslexia.

We would welcome the opportunity to answer any questions you may have and to tell you about our innovative curriculum, our broad extra-curricular provision, our nurturing pastoral care and to share with you our stunning 84-acre campus and help you and your child take the first steps towards joining the Bredon community.

Bredon School welcomes admission in most year groups throughout the year, subject to places being available. Main intake points are 7+, 11+, 13+ and 16+. Admissions during the course of the academic year are possible if circumstances require; however, entry into Year 11 and Year 13 are not feasible due to examination board variances.

Entrance to particular qualifications in Sixth Form are grade dependent and predicted grades will be requested. Places are then offered based upon pupils’ ambitions and their final academic results.

To discuss your child and the possibility of them joining Bredon School, complete our online enquiry form and we will call you back. Alternatively speak with Becky or Esther by calling 01684293156 or email us on admissions@bredonschool.co.uk.

We’re thrilled to share that Bredon School has been named Boarding School of the Year 2025 at the prestigious TES Schools Awards!

This national recognition is a powerful testament to the heart and soul of our school – our dedicated boarding team, our exceptional teaching and support staff and our tireless facilities and catering teams. Every one of them plays a role in creating a nurturing and inclusive boarding environment for our students.

At Bredon, boarding is more than just a place to stay – it’s a place where young people with dyslexia are understood, empowered and supported to thrive. From the structure of daily routines to the beautifully refurbished boarding rooms designed with dyslexia in mind, every detail is centred around the student experience.

We’re so proud to see our warm, specialist and student-led approach recognised on a national stage.
