Online Safety

A key part of preparing children and young people for the rigours of the modern world is how to stay safe online. Online safety is embedded in all aspects of life at Bredon, with regular education delivered through our PSHCE programme, lectures, assemblies and tutor times.

Parents are a crucial partner in keeping children safe online and we liaise with parents on a constant basis with regards to embedding safe online practice into the home, as well as at school.

Parents receive a safeguarding and pastoral newsletter from Miss Eaton, Deputy Head (Pastoral and Safeguarding), at the end of each half term, updating and signposting them to ways in which to best support their children online.

We are the TES Boarding School of the Year 2025!

We’re thrilled to share that Bredon School has been named Boarding School of the Year 2025 at the prestigious TES Schools Awards!

This national recognition is a powerful testament to the heart and soul of our school – our dedicated boarding team, our exceptional teaching and support staff and our tireless facilities and catering teams. Every one of them plays a role in creating a nurturing and inclusive boarding environment for our students.

At Bredon, boarding is more than just a place to stay – it’s a place where young people with dyslexia are understood, empowered and supported to thrive. From the structure of daily routines to the beautifully refurbished boarding rooms designed with dyslexia in mind, every detail is centred around the student experience.

We’re so proud to see our warm, specialist and student-led approach recognised on a national stage.
