Specialist Learning Sessions (SLS)

At Bredon, Specialist Learning Sessions are delivered by SpLD-qualified teachers and provide personalised learning programmes tailored to each student’s individual needs. These sessions are designed to address gaps in learning, build confidence in areas of difficulty and support students in making meaningful academic progress so they can reach their full potential.

Specialist Learning Sessions are embedded within every student’s timetable and delivered consistently throughout the academic year, ensuring ongoing support and continuity. At Key Stage 4, students also have the opportunity to choose SLS as an option subject, allowing additional time and focused support towards achieving their qualifications.
