Choosing the right school for your child is one of the most important decisions you will make about his or her future and we are here to help you make the right decision.
Bredon School welcomes boys and girls from Key Stage 2 to Sixth Form, with specialist support for students with dyslexia, dyspraxia and associated learning needs.
We always welcome visitors to the school – why not sample a typical day at Bredon by attending one of our Open Days, or by requesting a personal tour of the school with the opportunity to meet staff, students and the Head Teacher.
Entry into Bredon is not by entrance exam, but we do require satisfactory reports from the child’s current or most recent school, as well as copies of any specialist assessments, if appropriate. These reports will be assessed to ensure that we can meet your child’s needs. If so, your child will be invited to attend an interview with the Head Teacher. Following this, we would normally offer a guest visit.
Guest visits provide an opportunity for children to get a flavour of school life at Bredon, either as a day or boarding pupil. Visiting children will be matched with a ‘buddy’ and will accompany them spending time in the classroom, taking part in sports and activities and getting to know others who will be in the same class. In the case of potential boarders, they also have the opportunity to sleep over.
Guest visits usually run over three consecutive days although we will try to be flexible to suit your needs. Following the successful completion of a guest visit, we will then offer a place and send an Acceptance Form along with a copy of our Terms & Conditions.
“Thank you so much for looking after me on my guest visit. I had a wonderful time… it was lovely to wake up to the most amazing views and run around the grounds in the evening.” Guest pupil
Bredon is not able to accept pupils with social, emotional and behavioural issues.
