At Bredon School, we understand that every student learns differently. Our smart teaching approach is designed to help students with dyslexia and other learning differences thrive. By using multisensory techniques and assistive technology like speech-to-text, we ensure that learning is clear and accessible. At Bredon School, we offer three tailored Pathways to suit each student’s strengths and aspirations. The Academic Pathway builds a strong foundation in traditional subjects, the Creative Pathway nurtures imagination and innovation while the Vocational Pathway focuses on hands-on learning and career-ready skills. Farm update:

We are making some purposeful changes to the Bredon School Farm to ensure we operate as professionally as possible. Giving students meaningful, industry-relevant experience. Under the leadership of our growing team, we have modified our herd, selling our long-standing South Devons and welcoming five new Belgian Blue cross calves to begin building a new herd. 🐄These calves will be reared by our students through to finishing, providing hands-on learning across the full production cycle. Our ewes are also about to begin lambing, offering further hands-on experience at one of the most important points in the farming calendar.🐑

Alongside livestock changes, our team has been investing in infrastructure, installing new water troughs, repairing pipework, upgrading fencing, introducing new equipment, and reorganising working spaces to improve efficiency. Last year’s lambs have now reached market weight and will be taken to Cirencester Market by our Year 13 Agriculture students, reinforcing the commercial realities of farming.

These developments reflect our clear direction: to run a professional, progressive farm where students gain real agricultural skills, responsibility, and confidence, preparing them for the realities of the industry.🚜🌟

Through our Vocational Plus (V+) programme, Sixth Form students can extend their learning beyond the classroom by combining core NCFE Sport qualifications with industry-recognised professional awards.🏅 These include pathways in Fitness Instruction, Sports Coaching and Outdoor Education, allowing students to gain meaningful experience alongside respected vocational qualifications.

Together, Sport and Vocational Plus at Bredon create strong progression routes into sports coaching, fitness instruction, outdoor education, public services, apprenticeships and sport-related degrees, supporting students to turn their passion for sport into a clear and achievable future.🌲💚

Head Boy Kai and Head Girl Lucy delivered the Toast to the Lassies and Reply, before the evening finished with lively ceilidh dancing led by Mr Cradock and fiddler Pete Hartley. 💃
