Bredon Student 1993 – 1999
Healthcare Support Worker – Dementia & Alzheimer’s Care

After leaving Bredon, Amanda joined the Royal Air Force, where she was recognised as the best recruit in her flight during Ground Defence training. Although she later chose a different path, the resilience and determination she developed at Bredon remained with her.
Today, Amanda is married with a family and has built a rewarding career in the health sector, working as a Keyworker supporting people living with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. Reflecting on her journey, Amanda credits the support and belief shown by her teachers at Bredon with giving her the confidence to pursue her ambitions. She hopes her story shows current students just how much can be achieved with the right encouragement and support.
