During his time at Bredon, Tim served as a Sixth Form Prefect and volunteered as a Teaching Assistant, supporting lessons in History, ICT/Cisco and Junior School English. His enthusiasm for technology, history and helping others made a lasting contribution to the school community.

After graduating from university, Tim set himself an ambitious challenge. In October 2024, he began a solo thru-hike from the northernmost point of New Zealand, covering more than 1,800 miles (3,000km) over 172 days before reaching the country’s southernmost point. The experience strengthened his confidence and belief in what can be achieved through determination.

Now working in the insurance industry, Tim reflects on the role Bredon School played in shaping who he is today. He credits the school with helping him recognise his own potential and overcome challenges, lessons that have stayed with him long after leaving. The memories and experiences he gained at Bredon continue to inspire him, reminding him how far he has come and encouraging him to keep pushing beyond the limits.

Tim’s story is a powerful reminder that with perseverance, self-belief and the right support, remarkable achievements are possible.
