Since Bredon was founded in 1962, we have been proud to see generations of students go on to achieve remarkable things in their careers and personal lives. Their success reflects the confidence, resilience and determination they developed during their time at Bredon.

Tayte Nickols - Music Producer

Bredon has always celebrated students who think differently, and former Head Boy Tayte is a remarkable example. Since leaving Bredon in 2015, he has become an award-winning record producer, achieved multiple No. 1 records and worked at iconic studios including Abbey Road. His journey from a student with severe dyslexia to a recognised mainstream producer is a testament to resilience, talent and the support he received along the way. Robert Collcott - IT Engineer at Jisc

Bredon helped Robert discover not only a passion for IT, but also the confidence to thrive. Since leaving Bredon in 2011, he has gone on to earn a Computing degree and build a successful career in IT systems engineering, working with organisations including the NHS, Zebra Technologies and Jisc. Mitchell Brooker-Smith - Professional Athlete

From captaining the school clay pigeon shooting team and serving as Head Boy in 2022 to representing Great Britain, Mitchell achieved remarkable success. A Junior World Championship silver medallist and Junior World and European champion, he is now focused on qualifying for his first Olympic Games. Lily Pinchin - Professional Jockey

Professional jockey Lily Pinchin credits her time at Bredon with giving her the confidence, resilience and determination to pursue her dreams. Since leaving school in 2013, she has ridden over 100 winners, competed at prestigious events including the Cheltenham Festival and featured in the award-winning Amazon Prime documentary A Racing Mind. Alicia Kidd - Professional Chef

After finding a supportive community at Bredon in 2017, Alicia Kidd discovered a passion for hospitality that would shape her future. Inspired by her teachers and determination to succeed, she has gone on to build an impressive career, working in some of London’s most celebrated Michelin-starred restaurants, including Sabor, KOL, HIDE and The River Café. Amanda Harley - Healthcare Keyworker

A talented sportswoman during her time at Bredon, Amanda captained school teams and represented Worcestershire in county and district hockey. Encouraged by teachers who believed in her potential, she went on to join the RAF, where she was recognised as the top recruit in her flight during Ground Defence training. Today, she has built a rewarding career as a healthcare keyworker supporting people living with dementia and Alzheimer’s, continuing to make a difference in the lives of others.
