Left Bredon in 2019

Community entrepreneur and charity fundraiser

Since leaving Bredon School in 2019, Sam has dedicated himself to making a positive difference through community projects, charity fundraising and business. After studying Sports Science at a rugby academy, he established a local aid drop-off centre in response to the war in Ukraine, helping to coordinate the collection and delivery of more than 15 Arctic truckloads of essential supplies.

Sam later became a Young Ambassador for Molly Olly’s Wishes, supporting children with life-threatening illnesses, while also founding his own container self-storage business, which he continues to grow. His passion for helping others has also seen him complete a number of endurance fundraising challenges, including the National Three Peaks, 200-mile cycling events and, most recently, running the length of Ireland, raising more than £58,000 for charity.

Looking back, Sam credits Bredon with giving him the confidence to step outside his comfort zone, embrace new challenges and pursue ambitious goals. The encouragement he received at school helped shape the person he is today and inspired him to make a lasting difference to the lives of others.
