Mrs Jodie Grant

Following her graduation from the University of Gloucestershire in 2004, Jodie went straight into a full time teaching role. It was here, in her role as class teacher, that she began to develop a greater empathy for students who found learning difficult. Jodie joined Bredon School in January 2014 as a Specialist Learning Support teacher and continued to develop her skills and own learning, studying and achieving her SpLD and CPT3A qualifications whilst supported by Bredon.

Away from School, Jodie is mum to two active boys and spends lots of time on various sporting fields cheering them on! She enjoys holidaying with family and friends and loves nothing better than spending time in Pembrokeshire whether that be paddle-boarding, crab fishing or simply taking a stroll along the beautiful beaches.

Jodie is passionate about supporting all students in achieving their full potential. She prides herself in her knowledge and understanding of SEN, the impact this can have and the importance of getting an individuals’ education right. She believes in working together with students and parents in order to reduce the barriers to learning and making it as enjoyable and successful as possible.
