Congratulations to our CISCO students

Posted: 1st March 2019

Bredon’s on-site CISCO Academy, backed by the global technology giant, blends face-to-face teaching with a web-based curriculum, hands-on lab exercises and online assessments.

Five Sixth Form CISCO students Josh, Alex, Sam, Tim and Tom have been working hard to complete a new course ‘Introduction to Microsoft Windows Server 2016’ which has been developed and taught by Bredon’s Network Manager Mr Clarke. Designed as a practical and bespoke computing course, it has equipped the students with additional industry-relevant skills for the real world as IT apprentices.

Further congratulations are due to Sam, Tom, Alex and Tim who have passed the first step in the CISCO Apprenticeship Application (Degree level). They have all been invited to the CISCO Apprenticeship evening at the CISCO HQ in Feltham.

And lastly, Sam in Year 13 has passed his CompTIA Security+ Certificate exam with 90%. This is an excellent result and Sam is well on his way to also gaining the full CCNA Certification.

Congratulations to all our students.
