In the early hours of Saturday 31 January, 35 Year 9 and 10 students headed to Heathrow Airport as the Pra Loup Ski Trip began.
The itinerary was packed with five hours of skiing for six full days, alongside bowling, swimming, the Alpine Coaster, quizzes and the inevitable snowball fights. The schedule proved both a physical and mental challenge, with the social aspect of the trip being as important as the learning or refining the skill of skiing.
Skiing conditions were perfect for our mix of beginners and more experienced skiers, with snow most evenings and a mix of sunshine and snow showers during the day. All children made considerable progress.
The ski trip is always a highlight of the school calendar and the students must be praised for how they applied themselves throughout an exciting but exhausting week.
We look forward to launching the trip for 2027 in the near future.
